Now the latest news is that Prakash Raj is going to tie knot to Pony Varma on August 24th in Mumbai and to start his new life. It is also heard from the sources that Sridevi’s husband Boney Kapoor who introduced Prakash Raj as villain in ‘Wanted’ film seems to be looking after the wedding arrangements in Mumbai.

The typical veteran filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma is very much passionate of working with yester year stunning actress Sridevi in atleast one of his home productions. She said “I want to change my image. I want to act in roles which are more meaningful. And I am sure I will able to get rid of the image of being branded as a sexy actress with films like ‘Ilaignan’ in which I am doing a different character.”

On saying about her wearing skimpy costumes, the actress said, “When my co-stars bag challenging roles, it disturbs me to some extent. But most directors insist I wear a bikini and shorts.”

Apparently, Sri was present at a designer showroom and it was also filled with few really gorgeous women. However, they were in for a surprise as they saw her. The once beautiful Sridevi is looking all drained out with deep eye sockets and drawn cheeks. One could clearly see the effects of dieting and other hard burning exercises on her.

Though Sri was slim and trim, the lack of freshness on her face and the visible muscular toning on her figure made her look quite brittle. Kamal Hassan’s elder daughter Shruthi Hassan will be acting in the remake of Tamil super hit “ Sigappu Rojakkal”, which featured Kamal Hassan and Sridevi in lead. The movie was directed by Bharathi Raja. The movie was also made in Telugu with the title “Yerra Gulabi” and was a bumper hit for adult viewers.

Now director Bharathi Raja’s son Manoj will be directing the remake of the yesteryear’s movie with Shruthi and actor Shakti in lead. The yesteryear’s movie was a remake of Japanese film “Red Roses” and the new script will have some changes.

Acting in the remake of her father’s film is said to be an excitement filled experience to Shruthi Hassan and the movie will go onto floors from this summer.

YVS Chowdary showered praises on Ileana in Saleem audio function. He even went on to say that he loves Ileana. He compared Ileana with Sridevi and Simran and opined that she is the best actress after them. Ileana too feels that YVS was the one who showcased her beauty to the maximum in Devadas, which helped her to become the leading actress in South. Though Ileana was busy, she agreed to do Saleem, only because of YVS Chowdary. They are emotionally attached with each other.

The eternal beauty Sridevi may have passed her prime but that has not taken away the charm and appeal she has over the audience even today. So, an effort was made by the makers of the Tamil movie ‘Mappillai’ to rope her in for the role of the hero’s mother in law.

But it seems that the response from Sridevi got them to find their heels and start running. Apparently, Sridevi is said to have demanded a whopping Rs 80 lakhs as her remuneration and that too after the deduction of taxes. Well, the figures sure showed stars for the makers.

While some say that the negotiations are still on regarding the price, there is another report that the makers have roped in the gorgeous diva Jayaprada for the same role. The film happens to be the remake of the yesteryears super hit which had superstar Rajinikanth in the lead. Interestingly, the hero for the new version happens to be Dhanush, son in law of the superstar.
