JD. Chakravarthy cheated a Telugu actress. These were the words from none other than the Telugu actress Rambha.

Rambha revealed that they both were very good friends. And during the shooting of a film, he promised to attend her marriage where ever he is. But he didn't attend the wedding nor the reception.

"I do not know what happened to him? Why didn't he attend my wedding? Since then I have not spoken to him nor taken any of his calls" she revealed.

Though it is evident that she is miffed with him, it also shows that pure friendship that heroes and heroines share. Not every relationship is love and Rambha and Chakravarthy are a good example for this. (GUL)

South Indian thunder thighs beauty Rambha is coming up to entertain her fans with a thriller movie. “ Vidiyum Varai Kathiru” is ready to hit screens and is awaiting for the distributors. This will be the first film of actress Rambha after marriage and has hero Prakashraj as the lead. The movie is about a pretty woman trapped up in the house and the subject imitates an English thriller. Taj Noor is the music director of this film and the movie is said to be hitting screens in July.

Rambha after marrying Indran is inclined in acting in the cinema field. She is interested in doing female oriented roles and also prefers small screen roles these days. There is news that Rambha may sign a small screen lead role for sun network soon.

Actress Rambha who got married to Canada-based businessman Indhran recently, has celebrated honeymoon at Fiji islands.

Fiji island is a very expensive place, costing Rs 4 lakhs a day, the couple Rambha - Indhran were there for 2 weeks. Usually Holywood stars go there for luxury visits, now Rambha is proud that she’s the first Indian actress to do so!

The much excited Rambha speaks about her honeymoon, "Without a second thought, we decided on Fiji for our honeymoon. It was my husband’s idea that we should go to a place where no one would recognize me. In Terpil island, there were only 12 houses. We had booked one of the houses. Since this is a spot specially for honeymoon couples, there were couples in other houses too.

The place was quite deserted. Wherever we went, there was nobody there but us. Like booking a hotel room, you can even book a stretch of beach. There are 6 beaches. We booked one beach for a whole day. We were the only two of us on that peaceful beach.

The service and food arrangements were very delightful in the place where we stayed.

On the coffee cups given to us, were our names. When we left the place, we planted a sapling outside the entrance to the house and engraved the names of Rambha and Indhran on the stones". (CHIT)

Actress Rambha, who’s happily married to businessman Indran, is in Chennai currently. She flew down from Canada to celebrate her birthday with her family. She also wanted to be in the city to promote her upcoming Tamil film Vidiyum Varai Kaathiru. When she landed up at her house, she was in for a pleasant surprise — she was welcomed by nine Great Dane pups that were given birth to by her favourite pet dog.

“I love dogs. Indran has four dogs in Canada and when I came home, I was happy to see that my pet Great Dane here had given birth to nine puppies. They are already so tall and cute! I’m going to spend my time here training them. By the time I leave, they will become the perfect pets. The pups will stay with my family forever!” (GA)

The marriage engagement for Ramba has taken place. The bridegroom is a Canada based businessman Indiran. He is running an enterprise called Magic Woods. Romance blossomed between the two. Ramba was appointed as the brand ambassador of Magic Woods. After this they became more intimate. Indiran had gifted her a BMW car worth Rs1 ½ Crores. On the engagement day Indiran had gifted her with a costlier diamond ring. The marriage between the two is to take place in Tirupathi on 8th April. Ramba has planned to quit films after her marriage and settle with her husband in Canada. Ramba had almost paired with leading actors. Her film Ullathai Allitha made her popular.

After this she had acted in many films including Arunachalam, Kadhala Kadhala, Sundara Purushan, Raasi, V I P, Sengottai, Kadhalar Dhinam, Minsara Kanna, Sudandiram and Anandam. She also produced a film titled Three Roses but she incurred heavy loss.Her last film was Quick Gun Murugan. After her marriage she has decided to quit the films. Rambha, one of the top glam queens of nineties, is getting engaged to the Canada based Tamil businessman Indran today, January 27. Indran was smitten by the actress and was roped in as the brand ambassador of Magic Woods, a company run by him.

He had also gifted her a brand new costly BMW car to show his love towards her. The grapevine has it that the marriage will take place in Tirupathi on March 27. The engagement is taking place in a five star hotel in Chennai today evening. Rambha's close relatives and film personalities would attend the event. (OI)

The BMW is slowly becoming a favourite among Kollywood stars. First it was Rambha who received a luxurious BMW 7 series from a Canadian company for which she’s the brand ambassador. The latest recipient of these snazzy wheels is actress Lakshmi Rai. But Lakshmi wasn’t as surprised by her new BMW as Rambha was.

She explains, “It was a birthday gift from my dad. I absolutely love the car and owning this BMW is a dream come true for me. I’ve been waiting for the past three years to own one,” she says.

The car in question is the executive, fifth of the new car series from BMW. This actress’ car has a Maharashtra registration and she had to wait six months to receive the car after booking it. “My birthday is on May 5 and we made a booking for the car on May 2, but there were some issues with the delivery and that’s why it got delayed for so long. I was keen on getting only a top-end model and that’s why I didn’t mind the long wait,” she says. However the car’s Maharashtra registration plate has given rise to a lot of speculation, which Lakshmi dismissed as ‘rumours’.

Meanwhile, one hears that this actress, who has recently moved to Mumbai, has also bought herself an apartment in the city which is reported to be worth Rs 4.5 crores.

Mango Dolly Rambha, who is currently in Canada, has been proposed to, but the actress hasn’t said ‘yes’ yet.

“We’re still discussing things,” she says, “Indran Padmanathan (owner of the company that has signed her as its brand ambassador) has indeed popped the question, but I haven’t made my decision yet.”

The news is that both sides will meet soon and take a decision on the marriage. Meanwhile, Rambha has put a firm end to rumours of anything happening soon. “The news that I’m getting married in December isn’t true,” she clarifies, “One of my cousins is getting married and that’s the only reason that a marriage hall has been booked in my name.”

On the film front, she’s finished work on Vidiyum Varai Kathiru, which is under post-production now. And, she’s also eagerly looking forward to a sequel to Quick Gun Murugun. “Yes, when a sequel happens, I’ll surely be a part of it,” she states cheerfully.

South India’s thunder thighs beauty Rambha is all set to settle down in martial bliss as she will be marrying on December 27th, 2009. According to the latest buzz going on in the south Indian cinema industry, the actress will marry Canada based engineer Indran and will be settling for one year in Canada after marriage.

For this reason, the actress has not signed any major project which will feature her as a lead and has also winded off her ongoing projects at a fast pace. Sources however confirm that she will participate in some modeling schedules which will be apart of her contract with a Canadian company which sells bathroom fittings.

The venue for Rambha’s marriage is said to Tirupathi and the marriage ceremony will take place in traditional style with only few of their family member’s presence. But a lavish reception is being planned on December 30th in Chennai.

The actress is riding a wave after playing Mango Dolly in Quick Gun Murugan.

She had got the swanky new car as a gift from Magic Woods, a Canadian company dealing with high end luxury kitchen and bathroom fittings. Rambha has recently signed up as their brand ambassador in India.

The car was delivered to her on Saturday, and in Kollywood she becomes the first actor to own a BMW 7 series.
