Seeman-Vijayalakshmi Issue Confuses Media

Seeman’s current rise in politics is the reason for the allegations made by Vijayalakshmi, say sources. However, some sources claim that there are enough evidences for the complaints made by Vijayalakshmi.

A Congress man who recently joined the Congress from the ADMK was the one who first sent text messages to leading reporters on the issue, adds another source. Vijayalakshmi, in the meantime, has threatened to come out with photographic and video evidences of their relationship.

Some reporters who visited Seeman have also stated that they have seen Vijayalakshmi bringing lunch for Seeman. It is also said that she had complained only after Seeman decided to marry an Ealam Tamil girl before which he wanted to remain a bachelor all his life.

Some close to Seeman say that this must have been already planned by the Congress or the DMK to have Vijayalakshmi come close to Seeman. The advocate of Seeman has filed a defamation suit against Vijayalakshmi claiming Rs. 5 crore from the actress.

Whether or not Seeman had been in love with her would turn public knowledge within a few days. If Seeman’s decision to marry an Ealam girl were the reasons for Vijayalakshmi’s complaints would also be known. (TK)

Bollywood didn’t fare well at the 58th National Awards announced in New Delhi yesterday (May 19). South Indian film industries walked away with the top honours. Tamil movie, Aadukalam got six awards including Best Director and Best Actor awards while Malayalam film, Adaminte Makan Abu bagged the Best Feature film award. However, Salman Khan’s film, Dabangg walked away with the Wholesome Entertainer award of 2010.

We haven't seen size-zero Vidya Balan so far. In fact, she has been criticised for her plumpy looks in films. But surprisingly, she is required to put on more weight for her role in Dirty Picture, where she plays Silk Smitha, who was known for her thunder thighs and big butt.

The role in Dirty Picture requires Vidya to lose weight and then put on weight at a short period of time, which is a little too much for her. So, producer Ekta Kapoor has melt down to the idea of using cosmetic help to increase the size of her butts and hips.

The makers of the film have reportedly asked the make up artistes to take care of Vidya's bust line with the help of prosthetics. The shooting of the film is scheduled to start on May 30. (OI)

Actress rakshita, who is a well known actress in sandalwood, has married director Prem a few years ago and is now a proud mother of a child.

According to sources, the actress was on the verge of giving divorce to her director husband, as he was straying from the marriage, with “Jogayya” heroine.

But now, rakshita has strongly condemned the rumors and clarified on the issue. The issue of her divorce started when rakshita and prem had a fight on the sets, on a petty issue and soon the unit sources misunderstood the whole conversation and added some masala to the fight. They soon circulated the news that prem was seeing ‘jogayya’ female lead Sumit Kaur Atwal and Rakshita was heading for divorce.

But rakshita says that Sumit has become a good friend of her and her husband and there is no chance of love in between her and prem. She also cleared the air that, she is still very much in relationship with her hubby prem.(HC)

There is no complaint about Kollywood regarding this. At the same time I will also have my days in Tamil cinema. I am getting lots of offers in Kannada cinema. Since I did not know Kannada, I turned down the offers. Finally I agreed to act in the Kannada film Jockey which had Puneeth Rajkumar in the lead role.

I agreed because this film had a big actor and good story. Since I did not know anything about the Kannada audience, I had a doubt whether this film will be a success. But this film was a super hit. In the year 2010 I had acted in three Malayalam films.I gave my dates for Sudeep’s Kannada film but this film was postponed because Sudeep’s own film was not completed. Since I gave my call sheet to Priyadarshan, I was unable to act in Sudeep’s film. I liked the college campus story narrated by Priyadarshan. The shooting of the whole film is to take place in Dubai.”(KT).

The renowned producer of Kannada cinema, Dheera Rockline Venkatesh had high praises for actress Nayantara. He said that several heroines have worked in his films, but none are as awesome as her. The unfussiness and adjusting attitude of Nayantara has also been praised by others in the industry, according to Rockline Venkatesh.

A certain incident took place in London during the shooting of Upendra's Super that was really bothering Nayantara. She didn’t stop the day’s shoot. Instead she cooperated and extended help. However, she explained the problem after the day’s shooting. Rockline seemed impressed by this charm and attitude of the heroine.

In London, Nayantara never stayed in top star hotels and was okay with an ordinary accommodation. She never made any fuss about the whole deal.

Ever during the slum shooting, Nayantara didn’t go back after her own shot was done. She stayed back and watched the entire shooting of the movie. This shows that she’s truly an actress and not some heroine out to show attitude and work just for cold hard cash.
