Malayalam actress Meera jasmine is surprised hearing rumors that she is soon going to quit films, as her career is taking a slump side, from the past couple of years. According to certain section of media the actress was indeed thinking to settle down for marriage alliance with her longtime boyfriend Mandolin Rajesh.

But the actress has completely denied these rumors and said that she has no plans to quit films. The actress has clarified that she has a passion towards acting and will never quit films, for marriage r any such stuff. However, the actress hinted that it is now a high time, for getting married and so may get married by the end of this year.

However, actress Meera jasmine has clarified that her boyfriend Rajesh is very supportive, regarding to her profession and encourages her from the core of his heart. Actress Meera jasmine was also interested in entering the small tube, if a meaty female lead role is offered to her. (HC)

Actress Meera Jasmine, who ruled the south Indian film industry once, is struggling hard to get the offers now. She acted in regional Indian films that include Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu and Kannada films. Presently she is acting in few films, which will hit the screens soon.

She got the fame with her debut film "Run", which is a dubbed version of Tamil film "Run". In that film she was paired up with Madhavan and later she acted with almost all the big heroes in Tollywood. But, now the situation has become hard for Meera Jasmine to sustain her position.

In order to secure her future, the actress is looking forward to establish a production house soon. There is news that the actress is inclined in establishing her production house by this year and may think about marriage in 2011.

Meera is said to be continuing her love affair with mandolin artist Rajesh and the couple is thinking to settle down in martial bliss early next year. It is a fact that due to Thyroid gland malfunction, Meera was on medical supervision all these days. For a person who has a thyroid gland malfunction, conceiving will be impossible, till the gland gets back to normal stages. So, for this reason, Meera and Rajesh put their marriage plans on hold till date. South Indian versatile actor Kamal Hassan, who is also known as a living legend on south Indian cinema, will be acting in malluwood, after a gap of two decades. There is news that the actor has agreed to act in the film “Four Friends” which features actor jayaram, actor jayasurya and Kunchako Boban in the lead along with Meera Jasmine.

It is a fact that actor Jayaram and Kamal Hassan are good friends from almost 25 years and so Kamal has agreed to act in the project. Kamal Hassan has disclosed this news on the occasion of friendship day, which fell on August 1st, 2010. “Four friends” is a movie, which is related to friendship and Kamal Hassan wanted to feature in the movie, for the sake of sacred friendship bond with actor Jayaram. Please don't hate Namitha if you're a hardcore fan of the glamorous actress. Well, It is not our plea, in fact the actress herself requested her fans on Twitter. She is playing a negative role in Suresh Krishna's Ilaignan and this has made her ask her fans not to hate her in this role.

Namitha is currently busy filming Ilaignan in Binni mills in Sriperumbudur. She recently posted "Well its out-n-out Vamp character! I m Bad! Pllllllllls don't hate me after watching this film as u knw its not a REAL me :D ".

The movie is a screen adaptation of M.Karunanidhi's Thaai Kaviyam novel. Pa. Vijay, Meera Jasmine, Khushboo, Ramya Nambeesan and others are in the cast. The film is produced by S Martin, Vidyasagar has scored the music, B L Sanjay is handling the camera and the movie is Suresh Krishna's 50th movie under his direction. (OI)

The good looking actress Meera Jasmine for the first time in her kollywood career has acted in an intense lip-lock kissing scenes in a new Tamil film titled ‘Aadhinarayana’ which is under production.

She has given cozy lip-lock kiss to new hero Gajan in the film as said by the director of the film J Vettri Vendhan. The director has appreciated Meera for her professional acting in the scenes.

He said “We approached Meera Jasmine with hesitation to act in a lip-lock scene in this movie, Aadhinarayana. At first she was apprehensive about it and asked if the scene was really necessary. When I explained to her that the kissing scene was inevitable and that the scene would be shot aesthetically, she agreed and finished the scene quickly.”

Speaking about the film, the director said “movies that are close to reality are clicking in a big way as far as Tamil industry is concerned. ‘Aadhinarayana’ is one such movie that would appeal to the masses.”

He further adds “Srikanth Deva too was inspired by the script and has come up with five songs including one which actor Silambarasan has lent his voice too. I am sure his music would top the charts.”

Sharing his first experience with Meera Jasmine on the screen, new comer Gajan said “Meera was very co-operative. She made me comfortable in front of the camera and encouraged me to give my best”. [WaY]

Shooting of a female-oriented film was formally launched in Hyderabad recently with puja. Vasudev, a protégé of K Raghavendra Rao, is making debut as a director with this film to be produced by Rambabu on the banner of Sri Jagadiswari Films with Meera Jasmine playing the lead role.

Giving details on the film, the producer said, “We have decided to produce the film with all the commercial elements and with a heavy budget. The regular shooting would begin from January 1 and we will complete the entire film in a single schedule. Meera Jasmine is playing the role of an employee of a private television channel. We will soon announce the details of other artistes and technicians.”

The director said, “It is a 100-year-old story based on a set of incidents that took place in a zamindar’s house, who was an atheist. Meera Jasmine is playing his great grand daughter.”
