From the time there is news that there would be a lip-lock scene between Vijay and Ileana in Nanban there is a puzzling situation among all the whether Shankar would retain the lip-lock scene or not.

But speculations are at a buzz that Shankar has decided not to have a kissing scene between Vijay and Ileana D’Cruz. It is known that Vijay is not going to kiss Ileana but the pair will be having close-up shot, which would look like a lip-to-lip scene. But the director has reportedly decided not shoot a smooching scene as it could pave the way for a hullabaloo and moreover the Tamil audience are not used to such scenes.

The unit is currently stationed in Chennai and is found busy filming a song. The filmmakers are in a decision to complete the film by August as they in plans of releasing the film during Diwali. (TK)

Tarun and Vimala Raman starrer new film ’Chukkalanti Ammayi Chakkanaina Abbayi’ has been completed its shooting part, currently the movie post production works are going on. Now the latest news is that the audio of this film will be released into markets on February 24th through Aditya Music.

It is being directed by Kanmani and is being jointly produced by Raju Hirwani and Gogineni Srinivas under Supreme Movies and Pranav Studios banners. Music has scored by Anoop Rubens. The movie is expected to release in March.(CHIT).

Actress Vishnupriya, who is debuting as heroine in a film titled Oodhari, fainted during the shooting, sending panic waves among the crew. This resulted in cancellation of the shoot for a few hours.

Balaji Prabhu, son of noted director-producer M. Baskar, turns producer with ‘Oodhari’, directed by Sakthi Krishna. Vinod and Vishnupriya are the debuting lead pair in the film. Though new to Kollywood, Vishnupriya has already starred in as many as four Malayalm films. Also had been making news with her interviews criticizing Asin and Nayantara, senior actresses from Kerala for their expose acts on screens.

Last week, while the shooting was in progress, Vishnupriya fainted all of a sudden. She was then to the caravan and a doctor was immediately called to Spot, who after attending to her, said it was just an ‘ordinary faint’ due to tireless work, weakness and not eating proper food at the right time.

After resting for a couple of hours, Vishnupriya was back in action and started her shoot for ‘Oodhari’.

Anjali has recently mentioned that there is nothing wrong in acting with glamour for the song sequences. She while speaking about this said,” I did the kissing scene in Angadi Theru because the story demanded it. Even in the film Magillchi that kissing sequence was required and because of this I had acted in it. Because of this many are asking me that whether there is a kissing scene in my next film and that why I am continuously acting in kissing scenes.

I had acted like this in the two films, because the story demanded it. That does not mean that I will continue to kiss in all my films. I am donning homely roles in the films in which I am currently acting now. All the roles have the scope for acting. I am very thankful to Vasanthabalan for this.

The reason for all these things is because Vasanthabalan gave me a powerful role in Angadi Theru. I have so far acted in five films including one Malayalam film. There is nothing wrong in acting glamorously for the song sequence. Because of this I am acting glamorously in song sequences without exceeding the limits.” (VM)

Selvaraghavan has at last found true love in Geetanjali and they are marrying soon. The director has recently confirmed that he is in love with Geethanjali, his associate in Erandam Ulagam film. They fell in love for each other during the course of film's shooting. In fact, she has transformed his life by making more responsible person than ever, says the director.

"Geetanjali is an angel who came into my life and set it right. I was going through bad times and was not able to concentrate on my work. Geetanjali pulled me out of this pit that I'd fallen into. She made me a better person.", Times of India quoted Selvaraghavan as saying.

They are planning to enter martial bliss in June second week soon after the release of Erandam Ulagam. Sources also revealed that they will have an engagement ceremony shortly, which will be a simple affair restricted to close family members and friends.

First it was mom Sarika whose good friends were used to launch daughter Shruti Haasan's career in Hindi cinema. Now, apparently dad Kamal Hassan has taken over the responsibility to put his daughter's career on the right track in Bollywood.

Her first attempt at stardom in "Luck" was a big fiasco. So now "Ghajini" director A.R. Murugadoss has been asked to create an impressive re-launch film for the pretty actress.

Murugadoss admits that his multilingual film "Ezham Arivu" ("The Seventh Sense") is planned as a re-launch for Shruti in Bollywood.

"It is a medical thriller with some of the most costly special effects ever done in southern cinema. We want to take the sci-fi to a new level in the South. Shruti has a very powerful role and yes, we're hoping it would launch her career in Hindi cinema," said Murugadoss.

The story goes that Murugadoss had gone to Kamal Haasan to collaborate on a project. Instead Kamal suggested that he work with Shruti whose experience in Mumbai was far from satisfying.

That's how Murugadoss ended up signing Shruti opposite Suriya in the Tamil "Ezham Arivu" ("The Seventh Sense"). Originally the film was meant to be in Tamil and Telugu. But now a Hindi version is also being made. It will be made in Tamil Nadu. (GUL)

Some days back it was said that the film producers and the hero Vijay are not happy with the current title ‘Kaaval Kaadhal’ and decided to change it again.

Now for the second time, the title has been renamed as ‘Kaavalan’. And on the other hand, it is also heard that director Shakthi Chidambaram has purchased the movie lock stock and barrel including its negative rights.The audio launch is expected to be held in the month of September.

Hansika recently experienced horror on the sets of a film. She lost her ring. And the ring along with the diamond cost around three lakhs. She suddenly raised an alarm. And there was a frantic search for the ring. And the shooting had to be stopped for around three hours. After the three hours, nobody was able to find the ring and the director had to cajole Hansika to come back for the shooting with Dhanush.

By evening the shooting was over for the day and one spot boy came near her. He coolly handed her 'lost' ring!! He revealed that it was found near the wash basin. And the happy Hansika gave him five thousand rupees.

Hansika said about this set, "my ring was lost and I am very glad to get back. Actually, it was my Mom's Gift, so it is valuable to me". (GUL)
