Selvaraghavan as soon as he revealed that he is love, the media attention was on him from that day. After a couple of days have come out with the name of the girl in Selva’s life as Geethanjali and now the photograph of both of them has been out.

Geethanjali, 25-year-old girl says that “she is all happy about their love and confirmed that they are soon going to end with marriage. On describing about their love story Geethanjali says” I have completed by graduation in direction and was introduced to Selva by a common friends of us. At the first meet itself we had a discussion of nearly 2 hours and that laid a path for us to start off our friendship. But later on we came know that it is love and we proposed each other”.

She also added “Selva spends atleast two hours in a day with her and they frequently hang out to a beach resort near by ECR, coffee shop and watch movies at home. There is no restriction from parents of both sides for our marriage.” [WaY]

Selvaraghavan has at last found true love in Geetanjali and they are marrying soon. The director has recently confirmed that he is in love with Geethanjali, his associate in Erandam Ulagam film. They fell in love for each other during the course of film's shooting. In fact, she has transformed his life by making more responsible person than ever, says the director.

"Geetanjali is an angel who came into my life and set it right. I was going through bad times and was not able to concentrate on my work. Geetanjali pulled me out of this pit that I'd fallen into. She made me a better person.", Times of India quoted Selvaraghavan as saying.

They are planning to enter martial bliss in June second week soon after the release of Erandam Ulagam. Sources also revealed that they will have an engagement ceremony shortly, which will be a simple affair restricted to close family members and friends.

It may be recalled that Selvaraghavan was married to actress Sonia Agarwal in 2006. But their marriage did not last long as they parted ways in 2009. (OI)

The three-year marriage of Tamil cinema’s top director Selvaraghavan and his actress wife Sonia Agarwal is finally coming to an end on March 12. The Family Welfare Court in Chennai today fixed its verdict on the Selvaraghavan – Sonia Agarwal divorce case to be on March 12, 2010. The couple visited the court today and announced to the judge they are still resolved about their decision. Remember that the couple had filed for a divorce in August last year at the family court in Egmore in Chennai and applied for a “divorce by mutual consent”.Their wedding that was held in December 2006 lasted only for about 2 years after which they decided to part ways.

Sonia was initially reluctant for a divorce, and tried for patch up. However the couple realized that the marriage was heading nowhere and decided to part. The buzz is that Selva paid a huge alimony to Sonia and now they will be happily independent people. (CHIT)

How come the actress accepted to act in ‘Aayirathil Oruvan’, when she had nothing much to do in second half? Ask Andrea and she says, “Of course, I shot the same question on Selva and he said, it’s all about putting so many things together. And, I was convinced at last”.

The actress wasn’t present there at the film’s press meet held this Tuesday in Chennai. When asked about the reason, she said, “It’s nothing to do with the rumors stating that I am a broken heart…. At the time, I was busy dubbing for ‘Aadukalam’ for the film’s heroine since she has lots of English used with her dialogues…”

She admitted that, her favorite directors are Manirathnam, Quentin Tarantino and Vishal Bharadwaj and would love working with in future. (KT)

If there could be one person who is extremely happy about the outcome of ‘Aayirathil Oruvan’, she is Reemma. The actress is on cloud nine, thanks to the appreciations she has receiving from various quarters for the last 48 hours.

“I am happy a lot. At last, all our hardwork had borne fruits. My friends say my performance in the film was very good. My sincere thanks to all my colleagues, especially director Selvaraghavan,” she says.

“Shooting for the movie taught me many things, first and foremost being patience and perseverance to achieve quality”, she says and adds: “there’s a lot written about the film and its delay. But it is not an easy film to shoot.”

“It’s an ensemble film with a larger-than-life canvas. It might sound cliched, but I have to admit it’s a different film. It’s something that has not been attempted before.”

Reemma also clears the air on some reports that she is playing a crucial role in Vishal’s ‘Theeradha Vilaiyattu Pillai’. “No, I am not there in TVP”, she says. (TW)

Reema Sen disclosed that she and director Selvaraghavan were at loggerheads several times during the shoots of Aayirathil Oruvan (Yuganiki Okkadu in Telugu). She said that it was difficult to understand his style of working and hence differences of opinion arose but it was pushed to the backseat later when she came to realize how it would benefit the film.

The actress reveals that she has made amends with the director and also increased her call sheet from 40 days to 240 days. Reema says that she would accept films based on her liking and no one could force her to star in a film if she does not like the script. (CHIT)
