Tollywood film industry will soon witness two aunties re-entering into the Telugu cinema arena. Sonali bindre, of ‘Murari’ fame was supposed to act with Akkineni Nagarjuna in his up coming “Dhamarukham”. But her fee for the second female lead role was too high and so she was immediately replaced by simran aunty, who gave birth to her second child, in March 2011. Simran has used all kinds of cream to make her stretch marks vanish and the actress is working out rigorously in Talwalkar’s two times a day, in order to obtain a svelte figure, which she had in early 90’s.

If sources are to be believed, Sonali bindre will be doing a film for producer Manjula, which will be a remake of bollywood super flop ‘ we are family’ which had kajol and Kareena Kapoor in lead. If sources are to be believed, producer Manjula has convinced sonali bindre and Ileana for the script. But Akkineni Nagarjuna is not inclined in doing this project, as the storyline is very close to his real life.

The movie script will have certain changes, best suited for the Telugu audiences viewing. Meanwhile, simran has signed the movie ‘Dhamarukham’ and is said to play a spacio role in the movie, besides Anushka Shetty. (HC)

It so happened that, this producer is remaking Telugu "Vedam" movie in Tamil with hero Shimbu playing the role Allu Arjun played in Telugu. Anushka, who is playing her role in Tamil also, told the media that she reduced her remuneration for this movie because of Shimbu and this has infuriated the producer. Trisha will be seen as a slum girl in the movie ‘ Mankatha’ which has actor Ajith and Arjun playing the lead. The film is a multi starrer and has Lakshmi Rai as the second female lead.

Well, reading the headline might throw you off your chair but here are the details. Reports are arriving from Chennai that Sneha Ullal has been roped in to do the role of the prostitute in the Tamil version of the film ‘Vedam’.

Earlier, Anushka was approached for it but now, Anushka is doing a spicy item song in it. This will be a big challenge in terms of acting for Sneha as she has always been criticized for her blank expressions. This entire week has been a crucial phase for Silambarasan as he was busy holding discussions with producer R.B. Choudary over remaking the Telugu blockbuster Vedam. Finally, Silambarasan has revealed the film’s title as Vaanam (meaning ‘Sky’ in English) and the shooting started from July 10.

The official confirmations about other star casts and technicians will be revealed shortly. According to the sources, Anushka seems to have refused this offer as she feels that she may not be able to do justice to the character if she has to redo it. It seems the producers are holding talks with Aadukalam fame Tapasee for performing the female lead role while Manoj of Ennai Theriyuma will perform another lead role.

The original version featured Allu Arjun in the lead role of a cable operator while Anushka as a sex-worker and Manchu Mohan as a rock star. The film is about five different characters and how their lives are intercrossed on an unexpected day. (OI)

It looks like South India’s hottie Ileana is finding right time with the Kollywood. Her first film in Tamil ‘KD’ turned to be a terrific flop and she never turned this side. Off the late, there has been a long queue of actors requesting her to pair up with them including superstar Rajnikanth, Vijay and Silambarasan. Regrettably, she never opted to sign their projects until Vikram approached her for his upcoming film ‘VEDI’.

Having completed his quickie titled ‘Kadhal Solla Vandhen’, director Boopathy Pandian delayed to take off with the shooting of ‘Vedi’ and now Ileana seems to have got some problems with her scheduling dates. "Thala" Ajith’s 50th film was much in the news for being directed by director Gautham menon a few weeks ago. But now, the scene has changed as Ajith opted for director Venkat Prabhu , instead of Gautham for his 50th film.

It is reported that due to some reason, Ajith and Gautham could not zero on a bonded script. So, Gautham asked Ajith that he will be out of this project and so now Venkat Prabhu is the director. Meanwhile, the film has been titled as “ Mangatha” and will be produced by Dayanidhi Azhagiri.

According to sources, Tollywood star Akkineni Nagarjuna will be making a guest appearance in the movie and music director Yuvan Shanker Raja will be playing the lead role. Actress Anushka is said to play as a female lead in this film. Seducing beauty Anushka has acted with Ilayapathi and Surya and her third project will be withy Thala Ajith.

The beautiful Anushka is not only a body of gold but she also has a heart of gold. Here is the reason why we say it. Usually, when a make up man is doing his/her debut with a star, they get good money as remuneration for the first assignment.

So, something like that happened with Bommadevara Ramachandra Rao when he did his first make up for Anushka. It seems that when she wanted to give money, he said no money but she must do a movie for him when she becomes a big star. Our Anushka agreed to it and interestingly, all this was done on a lighter vein.

However, when ‘Arundhati’ became a blockbuster, Ramachandra Rao approached Anushka and asked her casually if she would do a movie in his debut production venture. She said yes if there is a worthy script. Then ‘Panchakshari’ happened and Anushka has not taken a single penny as remuneration. News is that Rao has got a Rs 3.5 crore table profit. She is none other than Anushka Shetty and right now, she is gearing up to capture Tamil hearts. Anushka is playing the lead along with Vijay in his next film Vettaikaran and recently, she got to share her thoughts.

Speaking about how ‘Arundhati’ has life changed, Anushka said that it created a new trend in filmmaking. The film did not have a hero and revolved around a supernatural theme and ‘Punarjanma’ concept. She stated that the only key for success is a strong script. Anushka also owed it to producer Shyam Prasad Reddy who gave her the chance to do this venture. She recalled the time when many had marked him down for making a film like Anji after giving out so many hits earlier. But then he has proved them all wrong now. This has also given a notion that Anushka is becoming the point of focus for women-centric films for which the pretty girl said that she doesn’t believe in hero- or heroine-oriented films. She said that it is the script that does the talking. However, she also said that the heroes do a lot of hard work and reminded that it is not easy to romance, dance, fight, cry and laugh, and entertain fans in those three hours.

Responding to the query that she has become the most sought after for every filmmaker and is currently working with the biggest stars in the south, Anushka puts up her innocent face and says she has no idea as to how she is getting all these projects. But just like all other things that happened in her life including her entry into films, she admits that she didn’t see this coming. She revealed that she was a yoga instructor with Bharat Thakur and had never thought of a career in films. The voluptuous beauty admits she is hot property today, but then that doesn’t stop her from giving her best to every film, she added. The pretty girl said that if she was not an actress she would have been a teacher. Reacting to the buzz that few of the industry folks can’t afford the high remuneration, Sweety (her pet name) retorted that she charges what she deserves. She also maintained that it is not an astronomical amount. She puts the fact straight that people come here to do good work and to make money. When asked if she has offers from Bollywood, Anushka said that she has not really thought about it but if there is an interesting project coming her way then she is open to all kinds of roles, be it glamorous or deglam. Anushka will be enthralling the audience with her Kollywood assignments and she has also got ‘Vedam’ with super talented Krish in the making.
