Smiling beauty Sneha is known for her kind heart and is always in front, for charities. Recently she joined the Rotary Club in order to fight and eradicate Polio in children. She participated in the meeting, held at Pondicherry as well.
Sneha donated Rs 15000 for the fund of Rotary club and was in a delighted mood and was interacting with the media as well. The media people started to praise her and her kind heart as she promised to keep the donation bells ringing from her side in the future as well for RC.
But here is news, which makes her fans disappointed. All the donation drama was in order to promote her ‘Bhavani IPS’. The Rs 15k which Sneha donated was paid back by the producer of Bhavani IPS, on the same evening of her donation. This shows that Sneha donated the money, not through her kind heart; but on request of Bhavani IPS producer. Since the film is desperate to hit screens after a long wait of 3 months, this donation was meant for publicity.

Finally the biggest event of this year arrives as the South Indian film celebrities are curiously looking for the big day to bag their honors. Yeah! It’s all about the 57th South Filmfare Awards scheduled to be hosted on August 7. Actress Tamanna was invited to inaugurate the press conference of marking the event.
The nominees for the best actor of Tamil Cinema 2009 are Surya (Ayan), Arya (Naan Kadavul), Prakash Raj (Kanchivaram), Jayam Ravi (Peranmai) and Kamal Hassan (Unnai Pol Oruvan) while the best actress nominees are Tamanna (Kanden Kadhalai), Sneha (Achamundu Achamundu), Pooja (Naan Kadavul), Padmapriya (Pokkisham) and Shreya Reddy (Kanjeevaram).
Meanwhile cherubic Tamanna, who was invited for the press conference of Filmfare Awards, was glad for having nominated for the best actress category in both Tamil and Telugu (Koncham Ishtam Koncham Kashtam) films. Having worked with almost all the young superstars in South Indian film industry, Tamanna mentions that all her co-stars are best in their unique attributes. (OI)

The smiling beauty Sneha who is showing interest to be a brand ambassador of top consumer products says “Advertisements are very creative stuff and I am enjoying doing them. It takes a lot to win over people in less than a minute.”
The heroine says that she is much impressed with the creativeness shown by ad-film directors but she is not interested in directing any commercial ads.
Shifting everyone focus towards the films, the actress says “I want to don varied roles and don’t want to be typecast. Importantly, I am looking for good characters.”
Currently, she is playing a lead role in the films such as ‘Bhavani’ ‘Vidiyal’ and ‘Vande Mataram’. [WaY]

Action King Arjun and Malayalam super star Mammootty and smiling beauty Sneha starring ‘Aruvadai’ which has been recently renamed as ‘Vande Mataram’ is all set for release on July 15th.
Mammootty and Arjun play the role of cops while Sneha is plays Mammootty’s wife, a pilot. The story rotates around an investigation and how the heroes get rid of the terrorists who gain access into the country.
Vandemataram is directed by Arvindh and produced by Pankaj Productions. D Imman has scored the music while Rajesh Yadav is the cameraman.
Other supporting actors in the film are Malayalam actors Jagadish, Kalabhavan Mani, late Rajan P Dev, Atul Kulkarni, and Jai Akash. [WaY]

Director Thyagarajan, who is currently directing Ponnar Shankar with his son Prashanth in the lead, showed the few scenes that have been filmed so far to the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu M Karunanidhi recently.
On seeing those scenes, the CM is reported to have suggested a few corrections to the Arukkani role played by Sneha.
Ponnar Shankar, which is based on the novel penned by the CM, is being made on his guidance. It may be recalled that it was the CM who put forth Namitha’s name for negative role in the film citing that she would be very apt for it. (NoA)

The homey actress Sneha has threatened to sue some news agencies who have carried out some negative stories on her and few other actresses.
The new agencies which are mainly tamil based have claimed that most of the actresses indulge in 'sexual misdeeds' with directors and producers to promote themselves.
"Actresses are not sex workers. It is not fair to write gossips on them just because they are into acting profession. we too have a family and those spreading rumours should understand the pain we undergo thanks to their acts," she says.
"I would no more take things easy," the 'smiling beauty says and adds: " I Would sure take legal action if this trend continues. I am open to criticism, but not to such cheap acts". (GUL)

Actress Sneha has cleared the air that she is not playing a mom’s role for a teenage daughter in the Malayalam movie “Shikhar”. The actress was miffed with the reports in the media, that she was playing a mom character for a teenage daughter in order to survive in the highly competitive film world.
Actress Sneha said that she will be sharing screen space with actor Mohanlal in the film. Actress Ananya will be playing the role of daughter to Mohanlal’s elder brother in the film. Since, she looses her parents in her teenage, Mohanlal and Sneha tae care of the teenaged girl and become parents to her.
It is gossiped that Sneha was terribly hurt, with the rumors that she is considering mother character roles in the films, to make her living in the south cinema industry.

Smiling beauty Sneha, who was countered to enter politics from the couple of days, by the media, has cleared the air that she has no such plans. The actress has revealed that she is contented with her acting career and has no intentions to take up any other professional field presently.
Reacting to the media rumors, that since she is following the footsteps of actress Vijayashanti, she might also enter politics, Sneha said a big “No”. She has made it clear, that if she desires to serve the country, she will do it through social service and not through politics.
As soon as the word, that Sneha is entering politics, spread like a wild fire, her critics responded in a sharp way. They even reprimanded her, that it is not her cup of tea and child’s play. (HC)

Sneha , Venkat Prabhu, Jai and other crew of Goa made their presence in the audio launch function of Bayam Ariyaan. Sneha who released the audio CD rushed out of the venue along with Goa team. What is the urgency? It might BE Goa film matter. Aswathi who had acted as a freedom fighter in the film Oliyum Oliyum has done the negative role in this film. She was so intimate with the hero Mahesh Raja.
This film has Udhayathara, Saranya and Devi Kripa in the cast. Udhayathara did not participate in this function. A song sequence where Udhayathara and Mahesh kissing was screened for the guests. This was not lip kiss but tongues kissing and licking. The scene titillated the guests.

The Star Night programme for helping the flood affected people was a great sucess and the Organiser of the programme Nandamuri Balakrishna received an apology letter from Sneha stating that she was suffering from viral fever that day and has not attended the function. Prevoiusly NBK issued notices to sneha and Nayanatara.
Nayan is least bothered about it and hasnt responded to the notices. Lets see they will take an action against her? Wat about all Major heros who haven’t attended the function?

Actress Sneha is unimaginably pathetic with herb bikinis – Ah! Looks like Sneha seems to have predicted the headlines that may hit the channels if she had posed with such acts in ‘Goa’. Thank God! The bulk sized actress has gradually avoided the bikini offer saying that she doesn’t want to get wedged with such images. Definitely, Sneha wouldn’t suit such looks.
