Vettai which brought Madhavan and Arya on board has completed the second schedule shoot recently in Pondicherry. Arya who is working with Madhavan has showered praises on him for his outstanding co-operation all through the shoot.

Arya says “Madhavan is a wonderful, simple and great actor to work with. He is very understanding and kind all the shoot. This is for the first time I am sharing the screen space with him and also working under the direction of Lingusamy. We just finished shooting in Pondicherry”.

Meanwhile, Arya is looking forward for the release of director Bala’s Avan Ivan.

On Avan Ivan Arya says “Avan Ivan is a movie to reckon with in my career. Director Bala pulled out the best from me and Vishal. It was a great pleasure being part of this prestigious film”. [WaY]

Finally the biggest event of this year arrives as the South Indian film celebrities are curiously looking for the big day to bag their honors. Yeah! It’s all about the 57th South Filmfare Awards scheduled to be hosted on August 7. Actress Tamanna was invited to inaugurate the press conference of marking the event.

The nominees for the best actor of Tamil Cinema 2009 are Surya (Ayan), Arya (Naan Kadavul), Prakash Raj (Kanchivaram), Jayam Ravi (Peranmai) and Kamal Hassan (Unnai Pol Oruvan) while the best actress nominees are Tamanna (Kanden Kadhalai), Sneha (Achamundu Achamundu), Pooja (Naan Kadavul), Padmapriya (Pokkisham) and Shreya Reddy (Kanjeevaram).

Meanwhile cherubic Tamanna, who was invited for the press conference of Filmfare Awards, was glad for having nominated for the best actress category in both Tamil and Telugu (Koncham Ishtam Koncham Kashtam) films. Having worked with almost all the young superstars in South Indian film industry, Tamanna mentions that all her co-stars are best in their unique attributes. (OI)

Sources say that the pretty girl is busy shooting for her film with Arya and squeezes every minute of her break to rush to her van and speak to Prabhu over the phone. Meanwhile, the man himself is busy shooting in Paris along with the apple pie beauty Hansika Motwani. And here is the best part.

It is heard that just when the unit was gearing up for a song shoot, Nayan walked upto director Rajesh and said that she would be leaving for France immediately and will join the unit in Switzerland where they are planning a schedule. The stunning actress Shriya who has acted with all the lead actors in the industry has established a brand image for herself. She said that though some of her Tamil films did not do well, she is busy in both kollywood and tollywood.

While speaking to the media, the actyress says “My upcoming Tamil film ‘Chikku Bukku’ is a full length comedy film. The whole story revolves around Aarya and me. The audience will see a bubbly Shreya is this film. I liked my role very much. The audience and fans will also like my role. There is no second heroine. Hindi actress Amirtha Rao’s sister is acting in this film. She is doing a guest role in this film. I need not say that whose role has significance.

Many are asking me whether I am acting in ‘Roudram’. There was some news recently. I also got the news. I am acting in this film. The first schedule of this film is over. I did not participate in the shooting. The next schedule of the film is to commence in the month of July.

I will take part in the shooting. With regard to the English film ‘What’s Cooking,’ it was produced with the purpose of screening it in film festivals. It has already participated in many festivals. As a first stage my dream was fulfilled in acting in a film produced by Deepa Mehta. I believe that I will be acting in a film directed by her shortly.

Currently I am acting in a Telugu film Don Seenu which has Ravi Teja in the lead role. I have also danced for a song in the film Puli directed by S J Suryah. I danced for this important dance because the music was composed by A R Rahman.” [WaY}

The actress has already accepted the offer for the Malayalam movie Pokkiri Raja, where she will pair opposite to Mammootty. The actress said that she have not signed any new films in Tamil. Three of her films which are set to release soon are Jaggubhai opposite to Sarath Kumar, Kutty with Dhanush and Chikku Bukku with Arya.

Tamannah Bhatia who was considered to be the youngest actress in tamil cinema industry is worried these days., she is said to face a stiff competition from Bollywood fame Hansika Motwani in the coming days who is just eighteen and is embedded with beauty from top to toe.

According to sources, Hansika has revealed in an interview that she competes with her own self and has no competition with Tamannah who is ruling Kollywood. But on contrary, Tamannah is said to be enquiring all about Hansika’s debut film details and the Tamil projects going in her way.

Meanwhile, Hansika Motwani is said to be delighted to work with actor Dhanush and actor Vivek for the film “Mappillai” the movie is already in the making and will be a perfect launch base for Hansika as it has good role for her in this movie. Yester years actress Jayaprada will play the role of Hansika’s mother in this movie and Dhanush will play the role of her lover initially and finally her husband in the second half of the movie.

Actor Aarya holds a special mention for having linked romantically with his co-stars. Earlier it was actress Pooja, who paired up with in more than 4 films and then it was actress Nila. Of course, Aarya had strongly admitted that they’re all his close friends and there’s no room for other affairs.

And Arya also doing a Telugu flick. The film, which features Allu Arjun, as the hero, will cast Aarya in a different role as a villain.

But now, we got to hear that Aarya’s parents have been finalized a marriage proposal with Hyderabad based tycoon’s daughter. With the entire town buzzed with such calls on airs, Aarya clears them up saying that it’s a rumor and he has no plans about marrying now.

Actor Aarya denied this news and said that he has to achieve a lot more in the tinsel town and he will tell to all before going to marry.
